The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council is seeking candidates for the position of IT Specialist and Data Manager. The IT Specialist and Data Manager is responsible for administering and supporting the Council's IT infrastructure, including local area network, firewall, phone system, and cloud-based e-mail and file storage services. This position will provide technical support services to the 12 other members of the Council staff and oversight of IT contractors. Data management responsibilities will include the development and implementation of efficient and secure procedures for data acquisition and access to support analyses of fishery management measures.
