The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Ecosystem and Ocean Planning Committee will meet on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Double Tree by Hilton Baltimore – BWI Airport, 890 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland, 21090; telephone: (410)-859-8400.
The purpose of this meeting is for the Ecosystem and Ocean Planning Committee to discuss the Council’s Unmanaged Forage Omnibus Amendment and develop recommendations for the full Council to consider at its April 2016 meeting. The Committee will consider advice from the Unmanaged Forage Fishery Management Action Team and recommendations from the Ecosystem and Ocean Planning Advisory Panel before developing recommendations related to management alternatives and other aspects of the amendment.
